To serve you better, Tbaytel will be updating the Voice Mail system in Fall 2008. This may result in minor changes for some customers. Please check back for notices regarding the new updated Voice Mail system.

Much more than an answering machine, Tbaytel Voice Mail not only takes messages when you're unavailable, but also while you're on the phone or the Internet. Password protected, Voice Mail keeps you in touch, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from anywhere in the world.

• Answers your phone in your voice when you're unavailable.
• Receives calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Stores 10 messages for up to 7 days (Enhanced packages are available).
• Allows you to recall messages from any tone dialing phone.
• Lets you leave voice memos to yourself, your family or your business.
• A Message Wait Indicator with either a flashing lamp or stutter dial tone indicates waiting messages

How to Start Voice Mail

• Contact Tbaytel Business Solutions to add Voice Mail to your line.
• From any tone dialing phone, dial *99 or 626-9999 to access your Voice Mail system.
• Listen to the Voice Mail greeting. At the prompt, key in the temporary password number given to you by Tbaytel at signup.
• At the prompt, enter your new personal password of 4 to 15 digits.
• Follow the prompts to record your name, a 30-second personal greeting or a standard system greeting.

Retrieving Messages

From Your Business Phone

• Dial *99 or 626-9999. You will be answered by your recorded name.
• When prompted, enter your password.
• The system will tell you how many new messages are waiting.
• Follow the prompts to retrieve your messages.

Away From the Office and Dialing From a Phone With Voice Mail

• Dial *99 or 626-9999 and press the * key to acknowledge that you have a mailbox on the system.
• Dial your phone number, enter your password and follow the prompts.

Away From the Office and Dialing From a Phone Without Voice Mail

• Dial *99 or 626-9999 and press the # key to acknowledge that you have a mailbox on the system.
• Dial your phone number, enter your password and follow the prompts.

To Change Your Password

Change Your Personal Password Any Time From Any Tone Dialing Phone.

• From the Main Menu, press "2" for Mailbox Features.
• Press "1" for Passwords.
• When prompted, enter your new 4-15 digit password.

To Change Your Greeting

Change Your Personal Greeting at Any Time From Any Tone Dialing Phone.

• From the Main Menu, press "2" for Mailbox Features.
• Press "2" for Greetings.
• Press "2" to record a personal greeting or press "1" to record your name.
• Follow the prompts to record standard or personal greetings.
